Gotta love rumors. They are going to go back to something 6 years ago and call it a second offense? They are going to screw the fans for it? Kraft negotiates the TV contracts for the league. If his market goes in the tank due to sanctions how much more coin is going to being home for his fellow owners.

If they find proof that other stuff went on then it’s likely time for Belichick to go and then move forward.

"I watched the end of the game yesterday, and saw Bellichick return to the sidelines for the last snap of the last second on the clock."

Heh, heh... c'mon, admit it. You didn't watch the end of the game.

Brady didn’t look 100% back there but then again, there were some passes that were overthrown which is hard to do if your ankle is that bad.

If:

Samuel makes the catch on the sideline the game is over
The Pats sack Manning the game is over
Reese doesn’t make a SB highlight reel catch on what is almost a Hail Mary throw then they are not set up for a TD
If the Giants DB doesn’t tip the ball on the bomb down the field at the end then the Pats are set up for a shot or two at the end zone with a FG attempt

It was the Giants’ turn to win the SB. Too many things went in their favor and that’s just football.

Are you a Giants fan? Someone who follow the team closely or just someone who wants to bait people?

No, not a Giants fan. But yes, like 98% of the country, I was pulling for the Giants Sunday night. I am a football fan. My dog isn't involved at all in this fight. But I do want to see cheaters and rule breakers caught and punished no matter who they are. If I wanted cheaters, rule violaters and sinister scheming I'll turn on professional wrestling. You may say you're okay with all that crap but you'd only be lying to yourself. You seek to deny any wrong-doing or excuse the Patriots behavior because it's your team. That doesn't make it right. That just means you can be bought.

BTW, you asked about Specter's involvement. Here's a link to explain some issues involved. Keep in mind, The NFL went to Congress first when they relied heavily on Congress getting involved with the anti-trust exemption to stabilize the TV market and in so doing, they saved more than a few franchise markets. My personal belief is that Roger Goodell is a crook and if it takes somebody like Specter to do Roger's job then those of us who care about integrity in the sport are much better off.

Not only did I watch the end of the game, but I watched the presentation of the Lombardi trophy and the speaches from the owners, coaches, and players. I saw the presentation of the MVP to Eli, and stayed watching to the interview with Bellichick. While I was disappointed in the outcome, I congratulate the Giants on a very well played game.

And, not making a 4th and 13 when you are within field goal range demoralizes your own offense. Dumb decision.

I couldn’t tell you the answer as I’ve not seen or read anything on it. IMHO, they could drop out and I wouldn’t have any problem with it. Moss should be traded immediately (Alligator Arms), and Brady looked like he might have been suffering from either an injury or illness during the SB (not making excuses, the Patriots were beaten by the better team that day - sometimes players have to play while injured or ill - Dwight Clark caught the game winning TD during the 82 Conference Championship game while suffering from the Flu).

So, then, you are okay with Manning in commercials where he makes fun of non athletes? After he won the SB last year he was in commercials where he was cheering on the common man. I thought that was tasteless. Now he’s doing commercials where he puts himself upon a pedestal and puts down anyone who can’t be a pro football player. No Class.

No. I don’t spend my important time looking for links on the internet in order to one-up someone (especially people looking for any reason to hate someone for something as unimportant as how he behaves on a football field).

“...Dwight Clark caught the game winning TD during the 82 Conference Championship game while suffering from the Flu)....”

As a Cowboys fan, that still haunts me. I wish the Clark had stayed in bed that day.

I can understand you angst. I grew up in a 49er household, and the Cowboys were a thorn in their side in the early 70’s. That damn Staubach coming off the bench to beat the 49ers in the Conference Championship game hurt.

Election day. This is now old news, so I’m moving on to something that’s much more important.

The Giants have far more team speed than the pats do. Brushchi, Seau, Sameuls, Hobbs, were slow against the giants pass offense. Burress was hurt big time, almost didn’t play and he made hobbs look like me in pass coverage on the last td. On offense the pats offensive line is slow. Agains the 86 giants defense they would have given up 10 sacks. I was watching thae Giants-Bronocos superbowl and I’m convinced that the pats would have been blown off the field by the G-Men. And Brady is no john elway. Elway was huge and fast, people forget just how great he was.
Anyway if the giants couldn’t make the playoffs 20 years ago, neither would the pats. Because the giants are the more physical team, and the faster team.

I just hope you don't take everything that comes your way in life so serious. It was a joke!
