MITT MIFFS W ON BORDERS (Bush exasperated with Romney's hard-line immigration stance)

President Bush has maintained neutrality but privately expresses exasperation with Romney's hard-line stance on immigration......Bush is upset Romney changed his position at the expense of the president's immigration reform. Bush and McCain are not close, but he's grateful for McCain's support on Iraq and immigration.
Florida Gov. Crist's unexpected late endorsement, which helped propel McCain to victory, was an unpleasant surprise to state Republican leaders. Crist had said he was not making an endorsement after shunning Giuliani's courtship and suggested that they also stay neutral. His support for McCain irked Republican activists who generally would have preferred former Romney. Romney carried heavily Republican Collier and Lee counties in SW Florida by substantial margins.....voters McCain will have to win over if nominated.

Least we forget the Huckabee position (flip flop) on Immigration.....
By signing Senator Sessions immigration pledge HUCKABEE IS UN-CHRISTIAN AND UN-AMERICAN BY HIS OWN CRITERIA!!!
http://www.arkansasnews.com/archive/2005/01/28/News/316347.html
Gov. Mike Huckabee Thursday denounced a bill by Sen. Jim Holt that would deny state benefits to illegal immigrants as un-Christian, un-American, irresponsible and anti-life.
Even if benefits to people who are in the U.S illegally could be stopped, I dont understand how a practicing Christian can turn his back on a child from this or any other state, Huckabee said.

"We have our disagreements, we Americans. We contend regularly and enthusiastically over many questions: over the size and purposes of our government; over the social responsibilities we accept in accord with the dictates of our conscience and our faithfulness to the God we pray to; over our role in the world and how to defend our security interests and values in places where they are threatened. These are important questions; worth arguing about. We should contend over them with one another. It is more than appropriate, it is necessary that even in times of crisis, especially in times of crisis, we fight among ourselves for the things we believe in. It is not just our right, but our civic and moral obligation."
"Our country doesnt depend on the heroism of every citizen. But all of us should be worthy of the sacrifices made on our behalf. We have to love our freedom, not just for the private opportunities it provides, but for the goodness it makes possible. We have to love it as much, even if not as heroically, as the brave Americans who defend us at the risk and often the cost of their lives. We must love it enough to argue about it, and to serve it, in whatever way our abilities permit and our conscience requires, whether it calls us to arms or to altruism or to politics. "~~~U.S. Senator John McCain, Commencement Address to the 2006 graduates at Liberty University.

????????????. I don’t quite understand the first sentence. I believe every 2-bit male tyrant would have to be a man. Do you mean every man is a chameleon or a shape shifter?. Some men still act with honor and morality. Some men have a genuine hate and distrust of liars and cheats. Some men are still Patriots and hate to see tin horn traitors sell our Country from under our feet. A lot of GOOD men have died to keep this Country free and our Politicians have and continue to stab them in the back.
I sincerely hope we shall not see his like again. I doubt we can survive many more like our current President or any front running candidate in either party.
We have the best government money can buy.

That settles it. A vote for Romney is a vote against President Bush.
