Schools are serious about LOOKING serious about violence. Addressing real violence means you have to admit its happening... It also means you can't run away when you see or hear a fight breaking out, or bullying taking place. And if you don't run away, you may either (1) become the victim of the attack yourself, or (2) hauled into court by the perpetrators' parents.
