Initial Pakistani Election Result impacts -
Musharraf and his party lost big time yesterday. Pundents are mulling this around. The NYT, not suprisingly calls it a loss for Bush. BDS aside, there is the possibility of a pushback due to Pakistan’s (limited) support of the US WOT. But this may only last a short time, as Buhuto’s party was liberal to the Taliban’s ultra conservative and they will eventually butt heads over Pakistan’s religous future.
