They shouldn’t. Romney’s wrong.

Meanwhile, McCain wants to close the non-existent “gun show loophole”, which will pave the way for closing the “private sale loophole” (which can only be closed through total firearms registration).

Romney signed a bill that crossed his desk in a very liberal state. While McCain enlisted the help of the left and went out of his way to close a fraudulent “loophole” using statistics provided by the anti-gun lobby.

Romney may have come up weak in his defense of 2A as the Governor of Mass. But McCain initiated his assault against it. There’s a crucial difference there.

I would agree with that.

I do get quite uncomfortable with the idea that conservatives can do whatever the hell they like just because they are in a liberal state though. How can we expect those states to move toward the right, if our side is going to implement the liberal’s pipe dreams for them?

And after all, that’s exactly the dilema we face if either of these men become president.
