No need to panic, Folks. Persevere and fight and stand for what’s RIGHT and let us pray that God would move the hearts that pull the ballot levers.

That’s right!

That's the most sensible post I've seen in all the McMania going on here on FR.

I totally get what Ann is doing. More people are going to hear about what she said and see that video of McCain with Ahnold and Rooty than will see any of Romney's ads or listen to what he has to say. She's using adsurdity to wake the conservatives up. If we vote for Romney Tuesday (I already have) we don't have a problem with McCain. The money quote is:

"She's running in a Democratic primary, he's running in a Republican primary, and their positions are about that far apart."

That's the point, and she's absolutely right. McCain as President with a Democrat controlled Congress will effect their agenda better than Hillary ever could because no one will oppose him. For all my concerns about Romney, one thing I have never heard him say is "reach across the aisle". I've come around to him slowly and reluctantly but I believe he will surprise us if we give him the chance. Just look at Arnold if you want to see what a "maverick" Republican will become once he's elected. It's not pretty.
