Neither McCain or Romney have expressed the sentiment that they would personally try to regulate interest rates themselves - or place themselves in charge of the banking industry by preventing foreclosures.

Keating Five... think about that for a minute...

>>>>Not once did I hear the word CONERVITISM. I did hear REPULICANISM though.

For your benefit I went back and counted: she said “Conservatism” three times and “Republican” less (maybe twice).

Coulter went mental when Bush did not pick a woman for the Supreme Court. Now we are seeing this mental breakdown again for another woman, even Hillary.

McCain/huckster will destroy the Republican party. But even worse is the effect of their presence will have on right to life, pro family, free speach, 2nd amend. free enterprise goups.

Between Hillary and Obama I think the Clinton machine will lock down politics for generations. Should Obama win conservatives can recover. The Clinton machine will help destroy a Obama admin. The dont forget or forgive.

Right now the biggest fear is huckster and McCain.
Im not a big Romney fan...but can vote for him. Certainnly an odd election year.

>>>>I’ve lost respect for so many people who I thought were conservative.

I wouldn’t go so far as to vote for Hitlery, but I get Coulter’s point: McCain is a dangerous man.

Two examples:

In debates the other night, Romney called McCrazy to the carpet about his egregiously false charge about Mitt’s alleged “timetables” for withdrawal from Iraq. The actual quote was read by one of the journos, making it eminently clear to anyone who’s not McCrazy that Mitt was referring to the need for POLITICAL timetables and milestones for the Iraqi leadership to meet. Not timetables and milestones for the U.S. military to withdraw from Iraq. Yet confronted with the factual evidence (which he did not dispute), McCrazy asserted that he would continues to make his false charge against Romney, doing so with a sick little sneer that indicated “I’m lying, you caught me, and I don’t care.”

This is precisely the same sort of in-your-face arrogance, cynicism, and disrespect that has McCrazy spewing the line “the American people have said they want border security and I will give them that”, while refusing — absolutely saying “I will not answer that question” — when asked about his current thinking on Amnesty for illegals. Yet in smaller venues as recently as two weeks ago he has indeed been saying on the record and in public how much he DOES still support Amnesty and that it will be good for America and that he would sign an Amnesty bill as President.

McCrazy is just that, a Crazy man and he should not be voted into the White House by ANY Conservative who cares about the country.

Finally, I also have considered McCrazy to be a Democrat since at least 2000. So, having now had the Republican Party fractured, splintered, and smashed to smithereens by Values Voters and Social Conservatives (predicted by Barry Goldwater), one must simply ask who is the better DEMOCRAT to sit in the White House: McCrazy or Hitlery. It is not a false choice.

If McCain is the nominee, Republicans will have to choose between being stabbed in the chest or stabbed in the back.

In fact, it was devastating.... totally devastating... to McCain. This will be talked about for days, replayed on every news channel, and will follow McCain to the convention. Brilliant gambit on her part.

Finally...somebody who is familiar with the term "satire." Sheesh

More folks need to follow Ann’s lead. The message that McCrazy is completely unacceptable to conservatives needs something more than hiding under the carpet and whining “I’m going to sit it out.”

No, I’m not going to sit it out. McCrazy is called that for a reason, which is that he’s literally crazy (as anyone who saw his “timetable” argument with Romney would recognize). It’s goes without saying that he’s not a Republican OR a Conservative.

So I can’t let him go to the office on a Republican ticket, no matter what the endorsements. It’s wrong. “I’m voting for Hitlery. She’s venal but not insane.”

That’s the way it works.

>>>>>>who IS a strict constitutionalist, and the only true Republican running among these fools

Ron Paul is a card-carrying Libertarian who runs as a Republican.

Nothing wrong with that, but it’s the fact of the matter.

He’s been recognized as a hardcore Libertarian by prominent Libertarians themselves, even since the many years ago when I was (briefly) a paid staffer with a core Libertarian organization in DC.

Correct. Coulter said in the clip that he is terrible for the Republican Party, and he is.... look at the damage he’s done already.
