Jesse Jackson is also a baptist minister, just like Huckabee. If being a preacher is the main criteria for conservatives to select a president, we might as well vote for Jesse Jackson, right? Jackson and Huckabee have more in common -- they both believe in income redistribution.

Jesse (Louis) Jackson Biography (1941 - )

Civil rights activist, Baptist minister, and presidential candidate, born in Greenville, South Carolina, USA.

He trained for the ministry at Chicago Theological Seminary and, having joined the protest movement led by Martin Luther King Jr and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), he was named head of the Chicago branch of Operation Breadbasket (1965), becoming its national head in 1967.

What state elected Jesse Jackson as Governor? What government did he run for twelve years? When did Jesse Jackson become a FReeper?

Oh, you are only comparing that they are both ministers. Nothing else matters.

Never mind.

Did you even read the post you're responding to? At no time did Jim Robinson ever claim "being a preacher" was the "main" criteria in selecting a President. He mentioned that Huckabee is a southern baptist preacher, but he didn't list this as THE "reason" to vote for him in ANY of his seven bullet points. The closest he came was the first argument that Huckabee "has the trust and backing of the Christian evangelicals and the support of the Bible Belt". While that is certainly true of Huck, it's not true of Je$$ Jack$on. Jack$on will never win over Christian evagelicals in the bible belt. Instead, Jackson has the support of liberal urban black "churches" like Obama's where the only thing they worship is liberalism and victim-hood for blacks.
