Jim, as a conservative Arkansas FReeper who suffered under the Huckster's pro-tax, pro-alien, pro-nanny state programs, pro-pardon for hardened criminals, pro-anything for Huck for 10 long years it pushes me to the verge of depression to see that conservatives have been reduced to selecting which layer at the bottom of the barrell we want to scrape onto our political plate.
I love ya man, but I just can't help my fellow conservatives make the same mistake the Dem's made in 1991 by choosing a slick talker from Hope. Huck is a nice guy to socialize with as I have done on occasion, but you'll regret voting him into office. Don't say I didn't warn you. FReegards - OB1

(What a pathetic state of GOP affairs it has come to, picking a candidate as the lesser evil.)

Do you have any first-hand experience to help us grasp his character?

Sadly, the deaf are incapable of hearing you. The bass guitar must have drowned out common sense. Wow, I've never considered voting for someone based on appearances at balls or making noise on a guitar. Did hear on the Levine Show that McCain converted to Preacher Huckabee's religion though -- so that could account for Huckabee staying in the race to help McCain out.
