The problem with this articleand I have great respect for the authoris that a similar litany of awfulness could easily be assembled to describe Slick Willard.
That's why I think that our media elite conservatives are more worried that McCain will try to inflict payback on them, whereas Romney would not.
For a lot of them, I think it's less about political principles than about who is likely to hamper their ability to make a living less. In that, they're just like any other lobbying group.

In the real world in which we live, we rarely get everything we want. Romney, not my first choice, seems to be the leader I can rally behind. I will do so rather than go home crying.

If you listen to Rush and Mark and can still say that you are not able to discern what you hear. But it does shows us why “conservatives” are giving McCain the republican party to destroy. I hope you are enjoying the company of McCain, Rudy, Kennedy, Feingold, Liberman, Chafee, Arnold, Martinez, and the NYT? But Rush and Mark have ulterior motives? Could it just be they have principles they will not compromise for the love of their country?
