“To watch the Establishment shove McCain into us disgusts me.”

To exactly which establishment do you refer? That line sounds really out there, to be perfectly honest. Do you mean the Rockefeller Republican rainmakers who have overwhelmingly supported Romney financially? ...or is it the water-carrying Republican talk show hosts who have fought McCain tooth and nail while supporting a candidate who only a few weeks ago promised double the government stimulus of Bush, a bail-out of detroit, quazi-governmental healthcare, and has a track record of being pro-gay, anti-gun, pro-abortion - and raised taxes in MA? Perhaps it is the crony Republican leaders who squandered the majority in Congress and disgraced our party with lobbyist corruption, like Delay, who has fought against McCain?

Say what you want about McCain’s credentials - heaven knows I wish there was a more conservative candidate in the race, but swallowing the anti-establishment lines that Romney co-opted from Obama after his losses in Iowa and New Hampshire just taints everything you say.

Nelson Rockefeller’s foreign policy advisor and friend, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, is a John McCain supporter. So is the man who was Kissinger’s understudy and a Secretary of State himself, Alexander Haig.

What about the water carrying TV who has given McCain millions of dollars worth of free advertisements. All the while telling Romney and Rudy it was time to drop out, drop out. Did they tell Edwards to drop out? No. They have been having a love fest over McCain.

As to talk radio, they are not news people; they say what they are, and they can comment whenever they want. The TV media is not supposed to do that. My tax money pays for public TV and Jim Leher spends every day gaga over McCain and trashing or ignoring all other Republican candidates.
