I cannot, under any circumstances, vote for John McCain.
I just can't.

McCain has a face even a mother won’t vote for. Not with trust and enthusiasm anyway.

Welcome to FR SoCal. I know what you mean. Some of us simply cannot vote away our conscience. I can’t be a party to betrayal of our country. Let the dems have that destinction.

LOL, I’ll know by then which way the wind is blowing. ;) I let you know by then. ;)
I just cannot picture the “soccer moms” voting for McCain. You obviously can, but I cannot.

What is noteworthy is that roughly 4 of 5 here would support Romney if he were the nominee. Less than 2 of 5 would support McCain.
I would be one of those who could support Romney (with some reservations) but will never vote for McCain. That position will NOT be changing anytime between now and November either. If the Republican Party is so stupid as to nominate their own Judas, they don’t deserve any support.

Those who voted for Perot put Bill Clinton in the White House. No, those who voted for Clinton put Clinton in office.
Stop trying to browbeat people into voting for your candidate.

There you have it. I think McCain is a fine man on a personal level. But if he’s elected, he’s going to have to hear from us loudly and often.
You mean no Prayer to...er, FOR Juan McAmnesties?

I will stay home and I will tell you why.
McCain will do the same damage as Hillary or Obama. But, when that happens, I would sooner see a demonRAT being blamed than a republican, and by association, conservatives.
The left wing media “supports” McCain because they KNOW they can beat him. Anyone who actually thinks the left supports ANY republican lives in a dream world.

Republicans need to realize that whether McCain or Hillary wins the nomination and then the Presidency, there will never be a Republican president again.
There will be a huge amnesty with all the relatives etc. It will be exactly as the Heritage Foundation Report described. Hispanics tend to vote Democrat and that will be that.
I will not in any way participate in the destruction of my country.

Third Party.
The time is now for a third party — one that’ll promote the FAIR TAX, one that will recgonize that we want a fence between the Gulf to the Pacific, one that will promote OIL EXPLORATION in the USA, and stop promoting biofuel which uses more ENERGY to make than it will save us — besides driving the food prices up. What we need is politicans who knows that the FOUNDING FATHERS wanted a congress of the working class — not PROFESSIONAL POLITICANS!
What we need to to tell the GOP that if WE WANT TO VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT, WE CAN VOTE FOR OBAMA OR CLINTON — WE should be running SOMEONE WHO IS A REPUBLICAN, NOT A DEMOCRAT LIGHT!

I just cannot picture the soccer moms voting for McCain. You're probably forgetting that those soccer moms turn into the most blood lusting revenge maniacs when they perceive some threat to the kiddies. Let one school or mall get whacked by terrorists and they will be among the first ones crying out for nuke strikes :)
