Nah. I just think the country is relatively resilient and can survive Hildabeast. The party cannot survive McCain.
Hillary's failure would strengthen conservatism quite immediately. McCain's co-opting, denigrating and obstructing conservatism will cause a permanent rift. Conservatives must leave the party. There will be a third party. 40 years of Dems.
You are correct. We survived Carter and, although we were damaged, we came out a lot better for it. I believe the same will happen if Hillary is elected. It will not be the end of the world...or the country. It will be the great cattle drive back to the GOP base from RINOland. McCain will dilute our party to an extent that we will no longer be conservatives.
No pain no gain...and sometimes you have to have surgery to get better.
