McCain has just won the nomination.

Rudy’s out.

Huckabee can only win a couple states in the south after coming in 4th in florida and being unable to reach out to anyone else but evangelicals.

Romney will have to continue to assess how much of his fortune he is willing to spend. The Anti-McCain vote will coalesce around him but with super tuesday a week away it’s not going to get the job done I don’t think.

Ron Paul is...well....Ron Paul.

So there you have it. John has been waiting in the bushes (heh) for 8 years...it’s his time now.

Out of all the rino candidates we have had to put up with, McCain is really not that much worse. We have a strong leader, who sees the importance of the GWOT, with strong convictions and an ability to win over independents. We really cannot do much better than that with the field we have been given.
