"Well if McCain does win, maybe Romney should drop out and run again in four years. Reagan lost his first time that he ran for Pres." Your alternative is predicated on the ability of the country to survive the certain Dem Presidency that will result from a McCain nomination. McCain will be a reply of Dole with the same results.

“Im now hearing that absentees made up one third of the total vote (this is from the source who believed the numbers were the first wave) and the absentees preferred Romney, 34 percent to 28 percent.”
That’s good news for Romney.

Sorry, but him being Pro Life is not enough. The President has much less say regarding abortion than many others. He’s already proven that he is unreliable in appointing judges, and they are much more important in the Pro Life fight. Not worth it to me to let McCain stab us in the back on so many other matters. Don’t even trust him to be reliably Pro Life if he thought it would behoove him to change his stance.

From Geraghty at NRO Another Detail From the Exits, and Some Background Interesting. I'm now hearing that absentees made up one third of the total vote (this is from the source who believed the numbers were the first wave) and the absentees preferred Romney, 34 percent to 28 percent. Giuliani is described as "far behind."

Look, just because Mclame served and was a POW, does not mean he is qualified, nor should be rubber stamped as the nominee. There were plenty of other POW’s and people who served that didn’t go into politics. Point is, he is unstable at best, and should he gain the nomination, we are screwed.

Also, many retirees/old folks livin’ high on the hog in FL and many just average elderly don’t see anything wrong with Mexican nationals breaking into the U.S. and taking our jobs and trying to take over the Southwest and West. Elderly folks don’t like people saying bad things about them, so best not to get into that issue, ya know? Therefore, Amnesty Mac isn’t a threat to them as he is to us younger folks...

McCain proved he is not pro life during the Schiavo case. McCain has said all kinds of things but cannot be believed.

Can FReeper’s blog under two different names?
The Inspector and mattfromva sound an awfully much the same.
