Can we start a third party? .... tonight? Please?

I am a huge believer in the two party system. But, considering now I will have to stay home, with a third conservative party, at least I can vote.

—I heard on the news today that McCain spent MORE than Romney in Florida!-—

Funded by the Party insiders?

Of course not!

Why that very poll popped up on The Corner this morning.

What a coincidence!

Your areas have a trickle, we have the bulk.
Besides the tens of thousands of illegals who live here, thousands more cross daily to use our hospitals, etc. at tax payer expense.
They have thier kid here and then it is an American citizen then they get welfare, food stamps, medi-Cal, etc.

San Diego Co. is over 3 million people - Tijuana is over 1 million people.

You are in poduck and can’t compare.

Just thought I’d mention that about 1.5 million votes on the democrat side and 1.8 million votes for the republican side. The media won’t point out that there was a bigger Republican Turnout.

This country will survive only if and when we stop hyphenating ourselves.

An excellent post. I don’t know why some people here are apolplectic. We may have just nominated the most electable Republican candidate that can beat Obamhillary.

I am happy tonight. We will keep the White House and may even gain a few seats.

Enlist in what? You would be embarrassed by that if you knew what you were saying to me. Cut out the attacks, I didn’t attack you and I am not the enemy. My patience is gone.

Of course. He’s very convincing in person and the MSM has promoted his lies. McCain is just incompetent, stupid and egotistical; therefore easily used.

Funny how so-called pro-lifers are gloating at the mcCAIN win, when his nomination would put Hill and Bill back in the White House. So much for pro-life........

“Huckabee came from nowhere to win Iowa, came very close second in South Carolina, and will win few Southern States next Tuesday and most probably will be McCain choice for VP. He is very smart, very charming, have great wit and humor, and he is a great speaker.”

That is what I expect to happen - especially with Romney losing in Florida which will fizzle any momentum he previously had. Plus, by Huckabee being on the ticket it is a way for McCain to extend and olive branch to the conservative religious base that like Huckabee. By Huckabee staying in the race, he keeps the conservative Christian voter base engaged. That base is the ones that do most of the work in the party.

Will all the discord amoung Dems, they will have a fractured party going into a general election. Unless, you have a Clinton/Obama ticket which could soothe the two major factions in that party.

Democrats certainly are nervous they wanted Romney that’s what I’ve picked up out there. They believe McCain will win Independents & will cut into the hispanic vote.

If McCain wins the General Election, I would expect he'll make his enemies regret it. That means us.

Good thing there is no way in hell he'll win!

Yep, mcCAIN has more Democrat pals than most Democrats. He’s their boy.

There are a lot of moderates and liberals in this state, especially down Miami way. They did not need to cross over. They are republicans. There are hard core conservatives especially up in the northern part of the state (the Panhandle). Romney had trouble there too.

I have heard some people say this was not a closed primary. It was in my county. Independents had to vote on a special ballot without any candidates listed. If they claim to have declared a party, they were given provisional ballots that won’t count until they are verified. But McCain still won here too. This was probably due to the military and the retirees.

..that means 35,000 did not vote for either Rep or Dem ?...Very hard to believe

If you are registered as an independent, you could not vote on a presidential candidate, just the proposition and local elections, if there were any.
