Did not see it posted yet, here we go folks!
I have known several friends who are Mormons, adamantly pro life and Mormons have supported Republicans well through the years. Some of the comments here must be coming from lack of knowledge or maturity.
A man called into Rush, this morning, and said that he had been getting all sorts of anti-Romney calls, but that the worst was one telling him that Romney was going to grab his guns.
McCain ACU rating 83
Hilary ACU rating 7
“The differences between him and Hillary are so minute he might as well become a dem/rat.?” I don’t think so.
It was the so called “Gang of 14” that made the appointment of two great Supreme Court judges possible.
If McCain gets the nomination, what is Rush going to do or say?
Would he continue to bash McCain and help the Dem candidate?
Rush has been bashing McCain for 8 years. He is probably very frustrated that what he’s said is not swaying opinions much.
Are you an idiot?
Read my posting history before you answer.
The Cain mutiny lives on.
Who do you trust on the immigration issue? Who understands that by changing the depreciation schedules an economy can be spurred on? Who understands that our corporate taxes are the second highest in the world?
As some of us say- don’t blame me- I voted for Fred:)
I’m not disappointed so much that Romney lost- I’m worried because McCain won. I know you support him, and you have every right to do so.
I understand your point about McCain vs Hillary- but I think if you look at the anger and disgust on FR tonight with McCain winning- you’ve got an idea how demoralizing this is for conservatives.
Mind you- this has been a long journey for me- I voted for McCain in the primary for 2000. I didn’t want to come to this place- but i’ve watched and listenedfor the last 8 years and I’ve gradually, even sadly, lost all respect for him.
Winning in 2008 is important, yes- but at what price? When many of us barely see an actual difference between McCain and Democrats...you’ll find few real conservatives turn out for McCain.
Amen, RodGuy. The Lion has some ideas why mcCAIN "won" also, has something to do with last-minute switching reg. Anyway, mcCAIN sure did outright LIE and the voters swallowed it. And still there is silence from prominent Republicans who could support Mitt and help him, but they don't.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why this country is doomed.
Do you mean the Slick Willard with 51% negatives?
LOL
My dad, who masochistically still insists upon watching the network evening news, told me that he just wants to smash Hillary’s face in whenever he sees her. As for me, I gave up broadcast and cable TV a long time ago.
I have no problems with legal immigration. I'm tired of people driving around with no insurance, drug runners coming over the border, people pretending they can't speak english when they can, etc.
It's a tough issue to address, particularly when talking about closing the borders to ILLEGAL immigration, because you're going to be accused of being a racist.
OK, be cruel.
Whats really scary is that the BEAST got over 750,000 votes down here today.
Mitt is the only one who can beat either Obama or Hillary -
Why?
Hanoi Hilton - is he stable?
First wife- serial adulterer
Keating 5
No base support
Gang of 14
Amnesty
No tax cuts
Wishy-washy on life
Zero personality
Age (not number, appearance)
Temper Temper Temper
Give McCain the nomination and it’s over. The Media will have a field day.
Compared with Mitt, Mitt is by far the stronger candidate and the Clintons and the Media know it.
I was never a McCain supporter. But I will support whomever gets the nomination and fight hard to keep Billary from re-entering the White House. That’s the big picture.
Sorry, doesn't fly. Immigration was not an issue in 2004, and GWB never has changed his position on it, yet he became the target.
It was never possible to get things done that people here on FR wanted. The votes show that the support was not there. We never had a conservative majority in Congress, and in 2006, we even lost the Republican majority.
In two years, you'll wish we had passed this last comprehensive immigration bill because the one that Democrats pass will show you what amnesty and open borders really mean. You can forget border security or any other kind of security for that matter if Hillary/Obama win.
Why were Democrats never attacked over immigration?
