Could be rough. I’m going to have to look at Obama. If it looks like McCain is getting the GOP nod, I may register D in the primaries.

Well, excuse me lady, but it doesn't sound much like you should be criticizing someone's "temper" or "temperment" by the tone of your post...I know John McCain is not some wacked-out, half-crazed, hair-trigger ogre because I knew his father and I don't believe the apple falls that far from the tree. I was also around when Mitt's father was anti-war "brainwashed-on-Vietnam" politician when I was in DaNang and I have serious doubts about Mitt's "longing to be with us there" based upon his nearly eight straight years of deferments from the draft.
They were probably referring to independents being the difference for McCain.
Well, I’ve thought about that too. But to be honest- I don’t like it when we go there. There’s something so unseemly about it- and besides- it would have a huge backlash effect.
But..I understand the impulse!

What?! McCain is not for amnesty. He was, but he “listened and learned.” Didn’t the hispanics hear that? Guess he didn’t do that commerical in Spanish. A strong third party needs to be formed. It wasn’t always Democrats and the GOP. There were the WIgs. We will have growing pains but the GOP is gone.
Either way your voting for the open border crowd...which is the one common thread amongst these major Liberal candidates.

Even this may not be enough. I've been trying to put my finger on what Romney is missing...I hate to use the word gravitas, but he seems to get too jittery (a la Lamar Alexander), and doesn't seem to give a reassuring demeanor. The successful candidates can put people at ease as well as inspire. I don't think he's been able to combine these qualities.
Wherever did you get that impression? We as Mormons are pro-life. Abortion is abhorrent and a sin and that is what we are taught and practice.

Mitt is conservative enough to have won Florida in a landslide if McCain was his only opponent.
Huck,Rudy,Fred,Duncan,and Paul were and are ending up as Ross Perots and McCain is Bill Clinton (in more ways than one).
If McCain wins the nomination,he won’t even carry Arizona.Whoever his running mate is—I hope it’s Huck—will never survive the disgrace and his political career will be over.
