Did not see it posted yet, here we go folks!
Anyone but Hillary and Obama.
Everything McCain does does is personal and petty. He's a small vengeful man.
Not if I, or other conservatives, have anything to say about it.
Maybe you two could run for President, since you seem so happy that no republican can possibly win the republican nomination and the presidency.
member since January 16, 2008.
Go away DU Plant
I really wanted Guiliani tonite to come in at least second. He didn’t.
My vote in primaries in my home state of AZ will be McCain.
That is really stupid.
McCain- no way I can vote for him.
Then pray we take back the House with good conservatives.
You think McCain WON’T bring us universal government run healthcare?
Ted Kennedy will have carte blanche in a McCain admin
I’m not so sure about that. I would vote for Huckabee but not as McCain’s VP.
Oh goody, an old fossil RINO for a nominee - I’m almost as fired up as I was in ‘06
Oops, you’re right. Thanks for the correction. I guess I was subconsciously wishing for Thompson to beat Huckabee.
He was very gracious, indeed. I still like him better than Huckabee. With all of his flaws, Rudy is Rudy.
“BTW: Those people who are thinking about sitting out the election, you need to wake up.”
Hillary as President will be better in the long term. McCain will push the same liberal agenda as Hillary. Global Warmning, Amnesty, Higher Taxes - but it will be by a Republican; waving the Conservative Banner. A McCain Presidency would destroy what we call “conservative.”
With McCain as the leader, Republicans, as a party will devolve into something like the British “Conservatives” who are virtually indistinguishable from their opponents.
I won’t sit out.
I’ll vote for the Democrat, and work hard for Congressional gains with real conservatives, and then real challenge for the next Presidential election cycle.
The only thing worse than having a Liberal Democrat as President is having a having a Liberal Democrat President who calls himself a Republican.
McCain?
Scrolling back through only the first two pages of his posts, FReepers are morons, fools, delusional, Duncan Hunter is a loser...no wait - a pathetic loser and a lame-ass congressman, Hunter supporters are past delusional and should all be committed, psychopaths, lunatics, and on and on.
I submit to all of you that this is not a FRiend who deserves the name of FReeper. This is a newbie, less than 1 year old, who seems to have slipped through the cracks.
This is good for the country how? This helps conservatism how?
It doesn’t matter anyway. If McCain gets the Republican nod, the media will outright savage him.
If he does get in, he’ll throw the flood gates for illegals even wider. We’ll face yet more government regulation “for our own good”. He’ll support massive growth of the Federal government, similar in almost all manner to a democrat. For an added bonus, he does carry grudges and he has an anger management problem. All of this is his own words.
As far as a drama queen? I am looking at this as soberly. The only unique thing about this election is that none of the candidates of either party belong in the white house. It is sad how far we have fallen.
I don’t see any way that a McCain win helps anything. On the other hand, America is about to be taught a lesson because of our foolishness.
Still, there's some small consolation in the knowledge that they think enough of you & I to figuratively beat the crap out of us should we show anything less than slobbering allegience to their RINO of choice.
