I believe that Sarasota and Collier counties are the most conservative in the state.

Heads up, Ave Maria University is in Collier County. Tom Monaghan and Judge Robert Bork territory, both of whom endorsed Romney.

The fix is in, MSNBC just announced that Rudy will endorse McCain tomorrow. Now that may or may not be true. Can you say Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton....

McCain is Bob Dole without the personality and likeability, the GOP is going to burn

Will the idiot who keeps posting those huge, worthless charts please stop it? It is a waste of time, space and bandwidth.

Some of us live out in the country and don’t have access to high-speed.

Thank you for your consideration.

“YOU THINK VOTING FOR MCCAIN IS GOOD FOR THE COUTRY?”

Say hello to 100 million illegals. Start learning Spanish. You sure are going to need it.

Huckabee/Thompson/Guliani all rooted for McAmnesty. You can thank them for this. McAmnesty will now be the nominee so we have 2 pro-amnesty candidates, with Obama or Hitlery.

I think at least some Thompson and Guliani supporters are against amnesty so maybe they can still switch to Mitt. Let’s hope for a miracle.

Ok, crazy thought here. If McCain is the nominee, someone conservative needs a grassroots campaign and approach the Obama team to come up with a truly bi-partisan proposal to support him in exchange for some legislative wins and promises on WOT. We can dispose of both the Clintons and McCain, and hopefully in the long run develop a conservative core movement that the GOP needs to win back. If Obama truly is what he is campaigning, it may be our best hope. A McCain presidency makes me want to puke almost as much as the alternatives.

Check the official numbers now, as the big south florida counties come in — they were all blank when Mitt was still leading, but from the polling places, people had a pretty good idea of what was coming. Right now McCain’s statewide lead is EXACTLY his lead in Dade-Broward-Palm Beach

McCain won’t keep me, but there is still hope he will lose the nom. Florida has big Hispanic population who love McAmnesty. But if it’s him in Nov, I’m out.

Well, it’s looking like the Romney-bots are going to begin jumping from bridges and windows soon. They and the Hucksters flushed the real conservatives and now the GOP will be GONE with McCain.

I would laugh if it didn’t hurt me so bad.

This loss by Romney proves that some things just can’t be bought.

He outspent his rivals by a huge margin and still LOST!

I am happy tonight.

McCain as the standard bearer of the Republican Party? I'm more discouraged at this idea than when Dole was the nominee.

At least Dole was a nice guy and a party stalwart.
