That would be a pretty good deal if McCain takes Guiliani for a V.P. If not Fred Thompson.

Pray for an inspired VP pick...

(Don’t expect one, though)

"if McCain gets the nod I can't wait until the next call I get from the GOP for money because not only will I tell them to shove it,..."

I wouldn't be concerned about that today. The RNC will be a money hole all around if McCain get's the nod. Wait 8 or nine days to make that decision.

“I get little joy out of who is winning, its the losers that are making me smile.”

I would expect that’s who you would most identify with.

My first two choices are gone.
Romney is the only candidate left that will keep me in the party.
My primary has not occurred yet.
The RNC hacks in D.C. can go to hell.
If McCain is the nominee, I resign.

I'm in the exact same situation. Hunter and Thompson OUT. Who does that leave? And John McCain makes me gag: CFR, the Gang of Fourteen, closing Guantanamo, Constitutional rights for terrorists, and open borders for any one who wants to come. He's to the left of many Dems for gawd's sake!

Hey Newbie, Miami-Dade is one of Giuliani’s strongest areas..

Romney is getting crushed down there.

Thank God Romney lost. I can't wait for the phony smile to be gone from his mug.

I'm with you there. But the alternative leaves me depressed and not smiling at all. What an overall bummer even going into tonight.

“But where is the breaking news headline?
“Keyes Pulls Ahead of Hunter in Florida Primary. “

Or how about this headline?

Thompson the Leader ... (over Huckabee and Keyes anyway ;)

What else could have happened? We never had a good candidate, but there was no chance for a good candidate, because the “conservatives” were restless and ready to shoot down ANY conservative candidate who had any chance of actually winning votes. Romney struggled on because he’s a GREAT candidate and has money, but he couldn’t get enough conservatives from all the differentt places.

Huckabee took some of them, Rudy took some of them, McCain took some of them, Thompson took some of them.

But none of them could get enough. Thompson SHOULD have, since nobody really hated him, but he couldn’t ever get ordinary folks to vote for him. At least not enough. But rather than realise he was another Hunter only with better support, that just made things worse.

Now we have conservatives who hate McCain but are happy he’s winning because it means the other people they hate are losing.

There is no way we can win in November. The conservatives want to lose.

This is just further proof that Republicans can win the crucial Hispanic vote, and John McCain is the candidate to do that.

LOL. At what price? The destruction of the country?

No telling how many independents were allowed to vote in the Republican primaries in the southern counties.
