Call me a Kool-Aid drinker if you like, but if the Demon-Rats had been in charge the past seven years, Al Qaeda would NOT be on the run worldwide, we would NOT have had tax cuts, and we would not have two more honorable conservatives on the Supreme Court.
Instead, we would be in a deep recession, fear of terrorism would grip us constantly because of the growth of bin Laden's organization, taxes would be rising, and our Supreme Court would be routinely issuing 7-2 decisions in favor of the leftwingnuts.
Overall, I think the man has done a decent, if not perfect, job.

True enough, HOWEVER, it is because of Bush’s leadership or lack thereof on the domestic front that we lost Congress in 2006 AND his failure to pick a V.P. successor for the GOP in 2004, instead choosing to stay with Cheney, is why the Demon-Rats have a good chance of being in charge for the next 8 years.

Exactly. Presidents are imperfect human beings, not the result of a precise takeout order-- and certainly not God Almighty.
Now if the RATs win in November, we will have a president who believes (s)he actually is God Almighty and will expect us to believe it too (or act as if we do) OR ELSE.
