While I disagree vehemently with the President on immigration and other sovereignty-related issues along with his unwillingness to use his veto pen, he is a brave courageous man who fought the world to do what he thought was right, and prevailed.
He has not been perfect, but he persevered through a relentlessly hostile press and an obstructionist opposition. I believe history will be kind to him.
We knew the enemy. He took the helm and weathered a great storm. The seas are not yet calmed but they never are. But he never lets go of the wheel!!
I truly believe that History IN TIME will write the rest...and he will be second only to George Washington.
Whether or not history will be kind to him, he has certainly been kind to history.
Agreed. Relentlessly hostile to say the least. I thought Reagan was trashed harshly during his Presidency....but what has gone on during President GW Bush’s Presidency has been nothing less than demonic, IMHO.
I see it as a combination of the Clinton/Gore vileness being passed along to and fed to the media dons...who then “caught” the viciousness and did their best to top each other.....
Despite the tsunami of the Clinton/Gore Rage that was pumped through their own voices and those of the msm cohorts...this PRESIDENT maintained a dignity and honor and humility in office along with a rock solid determination to do what he believed to be right...and brought the Presidency of the United States back to an office of decency, honor, and service.
We will NEVER see such a President again - unless God’s mercy intervenes in some miraculous way.
