That’s exactly how I felt, LOL. I clicked over to Turner Classic Movies.
You know, we don’t know what we have until we’re about to lose it.

The older I get the more blessed I think this country has been. I am blessed that I do not have to worry about price of gasoline. My daughter died 15 Jan 2004, brother died in May 2006, hubby and bil died in July 2006, mother died in Jan 2007 and an aunt died in March 2007. So, I try to stay home. There is not really anything I want to do out anyway. I am into genealogy and have over 22,000 names in my FTM. It is a fun hobby especially since I am back in the Middle Ages on some lines. Who would ever dream that I could go that far back! Some have died of the Plague, some beheaded and some burned at the stake. Very interesting to see how some that far back interacted with the kinds and others in power. I am a descendant of Chaucer and that kind of explains why I love reading so much.

In answer to all your questions, try asking congress the same. But, of course, you’ll keep electing the same traitors back, time after time. All this will not end until we rise up, either at the election booth, or the more serious route.

For that matter, so does LBJ overall. He did two things, the Job Corps and sign the Civil Rights Bill which was only passed because of Republicans and was opposed by his old Democrat cronies in the Senate.
