"We wont see his kind again for a long time, if ever. We have been and are very blessed in this man in these times."
Amen. No one running for office now will protect us as well after he leaves office. I am very thankful for him and so is my family.

Cheney looks like Cheney always looks; Nancy’s freaking me out. Though, perhaps she just has a cold.

It wasn’t intentional. That just happened to be the frame I caught. I don’t disagree with your take though.

"One of the most important tools we can give them is the ability to monitor terrorist communications. To protect America, we need to know who the terrorists are talking to, what they are saying, and what they are planning. Last year, the Congress passed legislation to help us do that. Unfortunately, the Congress set the legislation to expire on February 1. This means that if you do not act by Friday, our ability to track terrorist threats would be weakened and our citizens will be in greater danger. The Congress must ensure the flow of vital intelligence is not disrupted. The Congress must pass liability protection for companies believed to have assisted in the efforts to defend America. We have had ample time for debate. The time to act is now." [standing applause on the Republican side, dead silence and empty stares on the Democrat side]

Hearing him speak reminds me all over again that he’s a great man, even if he’s all wet on immigration. Even great men have had their blind spots. He stands tall next to the insignificant midgets coming after him, and especially the disgrace that came before. We should never forget what had been done to the Office Of President before President Bush came in and gave it back its dignity.

I’m not here to fight with you, but I’m not going to let the President get away with not doing his job for the last 7 years.
My family is on the border right now chasing illegals in the Arizona desert.
He has an obligation to those of us who voted for him...and yes I voted for him eight times.
