Rudy Giuliani appears to be pondering an end to his long pursuit of the Republican presidential nomination.
In a meeting in the back of his chartered plane en route to St. Petersburg, Fla., a short while ago, the onetime, longtime GOP front-runner told a small group of reporters, including The Times' Louise Roug: "The winner of Florida will win the nomination."

As I suspected!
Apparently, Keyes is full of pith. Or so I’ve heard.
This "Hispanic" category should be abolished. Makes as much sense as "Italic."
Speaking as somebody who has lived in SoFla, better Cubans (and Venezuelans and Colombians) than the Condo Communists from New York.
If Romney wins tomorrow in Florida, this race is transformed dramatically in the states that you cite. Conservatives will coalesce further around Romney; he is gaining strength in the mid-Atlantic, including NJ.
That said, if McCain wins tomorrow, he will have sealed the nomination.
The New York liberals in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties CAN’T VOTE IN A REPUBLICAN PRIMARY.
“better Cubans (and Venezuelans and Colombians) than the Condo Communists from New York.”
I hear ya. Just hope they don’t fall for McCain’s pandering. (Or Hillary’s, for that matter)
I agree! That ‘’woman?’’ will hang on to power in whatever way she can ,for as long as she can!
He will likely stay in until after Super-Tuesday if it looks like he might pick up some delegates. Then he will try and use those delegates to negotiate a nice appointment in the administration of whoever wins the nomination. Of course that only works out if the Republican candidate can win the Presidency.
I'm still thinking that Rudy might like to be Attorney General or Secretary of Homeland Security.
I believe it was here, and Mark Levin was the one.
Don’t know if it is a fact, but McCain is a power hungry fool.
Did you not notice McCain was toast earlier? He came back out the clear, blue sky, and all at once Fred was gone. McCain is a “sold out to Mexico” candidate, check it out if you care to. You will not like what you find out.
McCain, along with his pal Huck. Treacherous.

It’s pretty pathetic when we conservatives have the likes of such liberal/RINOs as McCain and Romney currently in the lead for the Republican nomination for POTUS. Some have suggested that conservatism is dead; maybe it is in the Republican Party...but not dead overall. Hopefully a new Conservative movement will grow out this current mess in the Repub. party.
There’s only a week between Florida and Feb 5. There are too many media markets and not enough time for Romney to buy his way to victory in all those states. His best bet is to hold his own Feb 5 and hope to clean up after that when it is pretty much just him and McCain left.
BTW, I’m skeptical that either McCain or Romney will gain much momentum from Florida.
Agreed, my point is that if Romney had been examined as long as Rudy, he wouldn’t be getting the support he is getting.
I just love it when she is referred to as "NY's JUNIOR senator"...and I can't stand "Senior" either. LOL!
Leaving us with ... Mitt McCainabee? Oh, the HUGH MANATEE!
Not to mention vinegar.
Ironically, it has been McCain to go from cellar dweller to nearly first place in a few short months. Last summer I was thinking this guy is done...that there was no way he'd ever get the nomination, yet alone become POTUS. Now look where he stands. Unbelievable!
Wow, for a liberal he brought back jobs, reduced taxes and cleaned up crime-ridden Times Square..... whodathunk!
There, fixed it.
Same for Hunter.
