First this wide range 1 millions to 3.5 millions is a proof why not to take those statistics seriously. Your post is full of lies.

LOL, that's okay. You believe what you want to.
Traditionally the border agents have only stopped about 10 to 15% of the illegals coming across the border. In one nine month period about a year and a half ago, the border patrol picked up 900,000 illegals. What does that indicate if old percentages voiced by those on the front lines held true during that priod.
First you would convert the 900,000 in nine months to 1.2 million in twelve. If that is only a fraction, we could be talking about anywhere from seven to ten times this number actually got through in one year, by the old 1 in 7 to10 figure.
I have not suggested 8.4 to 12 million are coming across per year, but it's quite unreasonable to claim the border agents are achieving anywhere near a 50% level of aprehension. What this means is that on the low end there are about a million coming through per year.
Time magazine published an article that stated 3.5 million were coming across each year. I don't agree with that.
What I do agree with is that there are anywhere from 1 to 3.5 million coming across each year. We don't know the precise number.
That's just the simple truth of it. As for lying, I think your side has the corner on that market.
