LUV, I went through Navy Boot Camp at Great Lakes, Illinois in winter - one of my memories of that time was drawing the fence watch from midnight to 0200 on a bitter cold night - the temp was down well below zero and we had to walk the fences for two hours. I’ve never been so cold before or again in my life.
