She is the little guy’s “Very Best Friend”...
When they come over, she spends every minute of her time with them!
She understands thier need for attention, and devotes 100% of her time with them!
She’s an outstanding grandmother!
We get to SAM's and just start loading up the cart when our oldest daughter calls to let us know that she had a busted pipe and about 18" of water in the basement. So instead of getting a truck full of goodies at SAM's we spent the better part of last night getting pumps going, moving water and all sorts of other groovy things in the balmy 30 degree dark:-)
This morning was spent wet vacing the floor and getting the furnace and water heater dried out. The daughter's basement is more cellar than basement and the floor is very irregular. By a lucky twist a fate the furnace and the water heater were on the two highest parts of the floor so the water did not get to any of the internals of either piece of equipment. So as of this evening it looks like everthing is working okay. And forunately nothing of any great value was lost. A few Christmas decorations and a couple of old light fixtures were the only things of any value that we had to toss out.
I did suggest though that there were easier ways to clean out the basement, foutuantely I was not assualted by my wife our daughter:-)

I was jumpmastering a UH-1D; the crew had never flown jumpers before. As we climbed past 3,000 AGL one of the crew was leaning out of his seat from the gun well, then noticed that his seat belt was not on securely. He turned white; I’ll never forget his pale face.
When we got on the ground he asked if I could have caught him if he had fallen. I told him that if I had reacted immediately, without a second’s pause, I stood little chance of even catching him before we were in serious altitude trouble.
Thank God for small miracles.
Thank you for this evenings Blackhawk sortie alfa.
I think you need a weeks vacation after the night you had!
Said it before....you’re a good Dad!
HAH, when I was in the Army, we rappelled out of Hueys, back first, and scared to death!!/LOL
AFAIK “6” is still the CO’s call sign. I was never a CO in the military. My service consisted of 13 days at the University of Science, Music and Culture: Qauntico Campus
owing to being TNPQ. And then life got in the way again, oh well...
Have a great week out there

Gerat story thanks
I work around some nasty chemicals and we are required to were all sorts of not so much fun protective equipment at times. I was training a transfer from another department and he wanted to go hook up a railcar of this fun stuff in his street clothes.
Sure I said no problem, the chances of you having any kind of incident are pretty small. BTW if you do have an accident do you want me to tell your wife and little kids that you were a complete idiot or just stupid. He went and put on the suit:-)
