Zero. Most folks saw this turnaround on seating dem delegates coming. The dem power brokers wished to have the GOP candidates beat each other up in Michigan and Florida. The dems will go at any lengths to attempt to split the GOP coalition, and vice versa.

My prayer for the past several months has been, "Please LORD, no" in relation hillary.

I wavered briefly, thinking Obama would be harder to beat in the general.

My spine has again strengthened. I want to see this evil woman stopped in the primaries.

I could at least survive Obama in my living room for the next four years. Can't say the same about the evil sinator from NY.

Choosing an african-american to be the veep might not amount to anything. Just about every major black gop candidate lost in 2006. But I say throw the dice, take a chance on transforming the electorate. Right now the wound is wide open, the clintons keep pouring salt into it. If the republicans have a nominee before the democrat convention, I’d urge that person to pick a black candidate for the veep. If that person is in their 50’s they’ll be set up to serve as president in 8 years.
So I know folks will say this is pandering to african-Americans. Probably is. I want a conservative as the veep. I don’t care what that person’s race or sex is. But the moderates and independents and black voters probably will care.

Not in the least. And if the DNC does not give in to her, there will be quite a spectacle on the floor of the convention when delegates riot and demand to be allowed to vote. If you thought the Dems were bad in Floriduh 2000 . . . .

This is really shaping up to be “The Perfect Democrat Storm”

Obama is already ahead in delegates elected by voters who participated in legal primaries. And its looking likely that he will have the most ELECTED delegates at the convention.

However, Hillary will win with her SELECTED superdelegates AND/OR illegal Michigan/Florida delegates. And you already know that she WILL be allowed to have them counted.

Now picture how the Obama supporters will react. Selected not elected anyone?

Also, many conservatives have been very positive about Obama’s character (not his politics), including Rush Limbaugh.

The democrat primary is shaping up to be one of the most earth shattering political events EVER.

Which convention is first, the GOP or the dems?

If the dem convention is first, and Clinton is selected (not elected), the GOP would miss out on a huge block of angry black votes if they didn’t choose JC Watts as VP.

If the GOP convention is first, I don’t think it matters too much who they choose. But if they did choose JC Watts, it would certainly complicate the dem convention.

With the names Obama, Edwards, Richardson, etc. gone from the ballot, it was a forgone conclusion that the only remaining candidate - Hillary Clinton - was the guaranteed winner. She now wants those delegates to count.

Personally I still think Obama is the tougher candidate in November. Polls for years have consistently stated that 50% of the American public would not ever, under any circumstances, vote for Hillary.

People “feel good” about Obama, and that makes him more dangerous. NOBODY “feels good” about Hillary.

Nobody campaigned in Michigan because the state was denied any delagates by the party because of the rule violation. It was considered a meaningless primary, and Hillary was the only one on the ballot. After she barely eked out a “victory” over “Uncommitted”, she now wants delegates from her supposed “victory”.
