Ah... I was not talking about that case at all. But since you brought it up, would this situation be better if there were two people GORE had appointed on the surpreme court? Heck we might lose the 2ndA entirely if that had been the case.

That’s something we’ll never know. Could Republicans have blocked the worst appointments and a person slipped through that may have ruled somewhat differently than what Gore had planned on them ruling? Well, it works the other way around, so it is possible.

One thing I learned during the Bush administration, I should have been writing stuff down. There’s been so much go under the transom that I’ve forgotten more than I’ve remembered.

Now were thinking he was a lot better than Gore. In many ways perhaps so. I just don’t remember how many case were a clear no.
