I couldn’t believe I heard him say that. What a doofus! Did you hear Chris Matthews “call” him on that? And then when Huck responded, he continued on with the ascertain it was Jordan. I couldn’t believe it! My thought then was if he’s not done already, then this should surely seal his demise as a viable candidate. JORDAN! Where has the man been the past 7 years! Sheesh!

Romney won the debate across the board.

MSNBC thought they were helping McCain throughout the evening and he blew their softballs over and over!

This was mentioned above but warrants repeating.

McCain said he won a majority of the Republican vote in NH and SC—not so.  He didn’t even win a plurality.  He lost the Republican vote by a hair in both states to the second place Republican.  So much for straight talk.

It looked like the pilot for the ‘Mitt Romney Show’. Disgusting.

Sorry if this has already been posted. How do they get away with this? Total Times

Romney: 21:11, during 13 times

McCain: 16:00, during 13 times

Giuliani: 13:50, during 11 times

Huckabee: 12:11, during nine times

Paul: 6:31, during six times

“I don’t care about the American people, it’s the folks here on stage that I’m competing with”... Taking part of it out of context skews his meaning, so go scratch. You’re clearly the one who couldn’t keep up

No immigration questions. Russert is in the tank for McCain. This is a big issue in Florida

Good point. Def in the tank for McLame

That is an interesting point. I didn’t know there was a bill, until I said there weren’t even any bills and one of our 2nd amendment freepers “corrected” me, none to mildly, for my ignorance.

But yes, it is possible he did not know, in which case my argument falls.

BTW, you are right, this was an opinion argument on this point. As I said, I can factually show that he did not say things. I can’t factually show what he plans or does not plan, nor can I factually provide an interpretation for what he said.

How do you know mccain or romney wouldn’t nominate then to the court just to work “with” congressrats? Romney has a proven record of nominating dems to the judgeships in order to get along.

The same reason we don’t have a Supreme Court Justice named Harriet Myers.

National Review's biggest losers of the debate.

Debate Lowlights   [Stephen Spruiell]

Williams and Russert should lose their debate-moderating privileges. I've seen more enlightening Van Damme movies, including the one in which he fights a giant penguin.

Is it just me, or did McCain seem visibly annoyed with Russert and Williams? Obviously he expected softer treatment from his MSM buddies... anybody also notice that none of McCain’s operatives were interviewed after the debate? Were the McCain people that angry with NBC?

With that logic we could have nuclear weapons. There have to be some sort of limits.

I was just told Romney kicked ass.

What did he say about Bill having time on his hands and being in the White House again?

Something to the effect of “we don’t need Bill Clinton running around the White House with nothing to do”.

Russert responded with incredulous (and incredibly obtuse) “What does that mean???”.

On the whole, Romney was good. But his response to Huckabee’s gun question left much to be desired.

Romney definitely kicked ass in a major way. A rally the base performance. He said the thought of Bill Clinton roaming the White House with nothing to do...

OMG, DID YOU ALL HEAR Russert or Williams mumble to each other, thinking the mic were off said sarcastically “Have you seen this this is (unreadable)_____, this is pathetic, unbelievable” then they cut for the commercial. I don’t think they were aware they mics were still on. I have TIVO and I kept rewinding to make sure they said that. HOLY SMOKES, this debate is such a set up by these miserable RATS clintonWHORES

Any more on this?
