Exactly - thanks for injecting some sanity into this discussion. I can’t believe how fast some people are willing to turn on a good man who has fought all his life for what we believe in.

..I am not prepared to nuke someone I have trusted for a long time--there is no satisfactory evidence that this move has any self-serving motives and may originate out of a good personal relationship and many shared values and yes policy positions (life, 2nd Amend, tax law, China).

Having said that, I am upset at the move, but will give DH time to explain to my satisfaction...
