I remember seeing it when it came out, but I didn’t remember Anthony Hopkins in the flick until much later. To me, the most memorable line in that movie was Peter O’Toole’s character appointing his imbecile son as heir to the throne: “Stop dribbling while I raise you to glory!!”
The one with O’Toole and Katherine Hepburn. I just saw O’Toole on King Ralph, but his first name escapes me.
“The Lion in Winter” is one of my all-time favorites. I consider it to be among the finest dialogue ever performed on screen.
That being said, I’m saddened by the death of this young actor, and will pray for his family, especially his daughter, who will now never know her Daddy.
