I see Roody and Mitt about the same having changed their positions on certain social issues. I also see the Huckster as more in line with my thinking on social issues but worry about him on taxes and the WOT. McLame would make a good wartime president but fails on so many other basic conservative principles.
Right now I don’t know if I’m staying home for the primaries and wait till the big show because I just can’t make up my mind.
My problem with McCain and the war is his incredible weakness on the home front. Constitutional rights for terrorists, no enhanced interrogation (which he justifies by saying, improbably, that any one of our captives will then be well treated), and the fact that he absolutely intends to have that amnesty bill, so we won't lose our country because of terrorist attacks but because it will be destroyed and bankrupted from within.
As for Huckabee, I think he is just a shyster. I don't think he really has much in the way of "views" but rather adopts positions to advance himself in whatever venue he chooses or happens to find himself. He makes my skin crawl.
Anyone up for some alcohol and antidepressants?
