Carl Cameron says it'll become offical sometime later this week.

Oh well, we're doomed. Let's hope it'll be minimal damage until 2012.

Fred’s out. There are no conservatives running for President in the Republican party. Oh well....

Last time I felt like this, the Rats won Congress.

Hmm, that’s not exactly true. MA had the biggest drop in unemployment numbers of any state in the nation in March ‘07 due in large part to Romney’s effect on their crappy liberal state. (Sorry people from MA)

I’m not a Romney basher, but so far he hasn’t done anything to gain my support either. He may stink the least of the remaining candidates but that’s really not saying much is it?

Nor do I believe (at least at this point) that he can beat the RAT ticket in November.

We are so screwed.

Funny thing...as many left wing hypocrats love the Clintons many hate her...McCain vs Shrillary may well be another 50-50 split with like 51-49 to the winner!

Thank you, yorkie. Collecting it wasn’t that difficult. Most of it just came from FR threads over the last year including older FR threads that other FReepers have re-posted. But posting it repeatedly takes a little time and patience. I’m glad to do it though and hope it breaks out of FR while there’s still time. This man is not merely a RINO. Look at all the things he has done, said and supported. It is evidence, to me, that he is an extremely unstable person.

McCain is ahead in CA also. Rudy had a lock on it for months. MSM cheerleading helps?

I thought about his daughter, and how her passing affected him, last night. He has to be feeling somewhat the same now. I know his daughter’s passing was a shock...no one should have to bury a child. But, that doesn’t diminish any such feelings just because his mother is so old.

It’s nice to see anyone who has their priorities straight.

My condolences to each and every FredHead, no chortling or snickering from me. I knew this moment was likely to arrive, and it did: first for my guy (Duncan Hunter), and now for yours.

As our revered 40th President said of the ‘Rat Party, we can now say of the Republicans:

“We didn’t leave the GOP, the GOP left US.”

And we all know it’s true.

I don't want to go with the lesser of four evils...I'm not sure I can support Romney, but he does seem the least horrible. I may yet go third party...depends on what happens, and what the nominee chooses as his priorities.

Romney didn’t have conservative constituents, or at least very few of them, in Mass.

America is a lot more conservative than Mass.

There's no way conservatives are going to vote for a flip-flopping scumbag like Romney, so don't even try to go there with this "let's all come together" crap.

Actually, I've been tracking who supports who on FR and it is between 80 and 90% Mitt now. We are coming together as a group, and that's how it should be.

"lets just hope none of his supporters get duped into voting for Mc Cain."

None of the Thompson supporters I know would EVER support McCain... EVER... He's a lying liberal, worse than the rest because he puts on a good show for sure...

With Huckabee when you look closely you can see the truth that he is a shifty one, and definitely leans left while speaking out of the "right' side of his mouth -- a slick huckster who pushes his "saintliness" as the reason he should be President...

Mitt Romney -- someone who actually agrees with socialist agendas like mandated health care which he pushed in Massachusetts? No Thanks... (Not to mention his work against the Second Amendment)

Ron Paul??? Another NEVER -- no Fred Thompson supporter I know would EVER vote for an anti-war idiot.

Giuliani -- Could perhaps beat HIllary, but I don't like his socialist agendas either...

Is there anyone else now??? Not that I can see... Don't know what I'm going to do come November frankly...

This is a sad, sad, day... I feel like the only true hope for our nation to get back on track is truly gone right now... I hope I can get over this feeling... Right now I don't see a point in even going to the polls because I don't believe ANY of the choices will make a good leader for our country if we want to remain as free as we are today at the least... All of these candidates will push programs that will take away more and more of our rights and move farther and farther away from their oath to actually defend the Constitution (all of it -- not just the parts they like...). UGH... How depressing!!!

Listen up people and pay attention: not so fast. Guiliani is a wily one. He has been working with Crist in Florida and is proposing some sort of national hurricane insurance fund for Floridians. They're gonna love that.
