Cops are investigating the beating of a 16-year-old Yeshiva student in Brooklyn as a possible hate crime.
Samuel Balkany was on his way to a friend's house in Crown Heights about 10:30p.m. Friday when five black teenagers threw him against the fence of a house, yelled anti-Semitic epithets and beat him, police and Samuel said.
"They pushed me so I was leaning on the gate, and five guys were knocking me out for five minutes," Samuel, who is Lubavitch Hasidic, said last night. He said the teens yelled, "F------ Jew. It's our neighborhood. We're going to kill you, little Jew." Bleeding from his head, Samuel went to his friend's house and then to Kings County Hospital.
Personally I hate the terms Caucasian-American or Europian-American. If other folks want to demean them selves by being a hyphanated-American, thats sad, but their choice.
I am an AMERICIAN.
If you want to describe me as white, that is fine, but it has absolutely nothing to do with me being an American.
And yes, I do agree with your post.
“hate crime”? No such thing. These were criminals and thugs out to beat up someone. Notice 5 against 1. There are laws set up to take care of these pissants. My hero is the guy in the 80s that shot the thugs on the bus because they were trying to rob him.
Norfolk,Virginia.
You don’t know the half of it and Fox News is only network to even mention this. Public television never mentions the truth.

My neighborhood that I have lived in all my adult life is not safe today like it was when I first moved here. America is not safe. It is a shame to be forced to carry a piece. I looks like that is the only answer and it is a one time deal.
I live in Brooklyn, and the same thing happened to me.
I was simply walking home one night, then two guys ran up behind me, sucker-punched me, tackled me, and then kicked me in the head and face repeatedly, breaking several of my teeth.
Why they did it? Who knows. They stole my glasses and tried to steal my backpack (and failed). They seemed to be enjoying the beating-up process too much and were too ineffective in their attempt to theft for me to assume that it was as simple as that, though.
If the slippery slope applies to some people, then it must apply to ALL ....
