The LB crop looks weak now that 2 of the top underclassman are staying in and I can’t see them taking a marginal kid with that high a slot The best CB available is the kid out of Central Florida so maybe they go that route.
All in all it looks like a weak draft. If they lose Samuel then they can likely pick up some other guys in free agency.
They have one more shot next year then the roster is going to turn over with retirements and other guys coming up for big contracts.
Let’s worry about roster moves after that little game coming up in Arizona in two weeks.
I think FA may bring some real talent, we shall see. I see them trading out of a lot of thier picks and picking up FA and maybe get lucky with some diamonds in the rough.
Need youth and speed at LB and talent and exprience at DB.
