As a Conservative I am lost. I will not, under any circumstances vote for John Mclame. He has sold Conservatives out. Nor will I vote for Jesus' favorite candidate Schmuckabee. I believe the most Conservative candidate is Thompson and can't help but wonder who is voting in these things. If Mclame or Schmuckabee is the nominee I can't vote. It will pain me deeply to not vote, but either of those clowns are no different from the lefty. Me question to my FRiends is.. WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO??? The situation seems rather desperate.
I would rather vote for the Southern Party Candidate, than any of those 4.
Have you ever heard of the Supreme Court and gun rights?
Everyone else gets murdered by anyone of them.
Welcome to the twilight zone. :)~
I do not know what goes on in his mind. But his record indicates one or more of the following:
*He is a sociopath or delusional or suffers from some other mental defect.
*He is corrupt - bribed or blackmailed.
*He hates this country.
*The Manchurian Candidate?
6. From complacency to apathy;
THIS IS WHERE WE ARE (Ill vote for anyone with an R)
7. From apathy to dependence;
THIS IS WHAT WE WILL LEAVE OUR CHILDREN
It sure seems that you’ve narrowed your choice to Mitt Romney!
That was my conclusion after recognizing some time ago that Fred failed to reuse all of those great 2 minute segements he developed while substituting for Paul Harvey.
Both are exceptionally dangerous to the concept of America itself.
National security is very, very, important, but it will not destroy “America itself.”
Look, dems have been aborting their babies by the tens of millions, and have taxed much of what remains right out of the blue states.
Which now all want illegal immigrants legalized to refill their voting base and keep the entitlements and unions rolling.
By itself, that will tank the economy over a long period of time, and the brand spanking new illigrants2 want nothing of America but to loot us and replace us with the “agenda for change.”
With a Hillary in power then at least the GOP could be a counter point to this happening, but the recent past has proved to me the futility of expecting the national RINO republicans, for the most part, and the RNC to work for us in this respect when they are ascendant, and also actively hostile to this stance.
Again, perhaps the need to reclaim the base of power would entail a rightward GOP shift in the next election cycle.
Far to the contrary, McCain has worked actively and consistently against us on amnesty, and Mitt ushered in State forced health care insurance, although that is a negotiable item when it comes to seeing a Hillary in office.
Now, back to your point about the WOT and other National Security issues as they relate to the military, then you have an excellent point. - It just isn't enough for me in the absence of a believable and palatable stance on the other issues.
I'm waiting for someone to address those in no uncertain terms, and address them in a way that is not 180 degrees the opposite of everything that he did in recent history.
Thank you for your post and the opportunity to explain.
*2 A brand new word! - illigrants!
I don't see why he wouldn't. He fought with him over Iraq (and won).
I will never vote for Huckabee. I am a Christian and he offends me. I will never vote for Guiliani. I am a conservative and he offends me. Odds are very slim I'd vote for Romney (promise anything) or McCain (unstable). At this moment, I'll vote for Thompson, write in Thompson or vote for Obama and let the chips fall.
If he doesn't pick Huck as a running mate, then jumping ship as well.
The only ones to strike off any list are the ones who struck themselves...
I’m in for Thompson all the way to the end.The republican party has left me.I did’nt leave the republican party.
You want him to lose every state?
Every Pub left in the race is soft on illegals. OTOH, I don't think any of them will start trying to register them to vote. I sincerely fear Clinton and Edwards would.
I don't think Obama would -- he strikes me as being a basically honest guy -- but he would start ripping down whatever fencing has been put up, and I think he would sign on to Nancy Pelosi's plan to cement it as illegal job discrimination based on English fluency.
George Soros is making contributions to the Huckabee campaign today.....
...then I’m jumping ship. No, actually, the ship disappeared beneath me.
Hello...a lot of people are voting for Huck if you haven’t noticed.
I apologize for writing “stupid.” My bad.
I should have written, “poor question,” or some such.
Why is it on Freerepublic now days, when someone has a different opinion from someone else, people start attacking them personally. The enemy is the democratic party and leaders that support democratic ways, like amnesty.
