This afternoon while leaving my polling place, I overheard older voters being interviewed and they were touting McCain’s “experience” and his P.O.W background. That’s his trump card. Its as if his voting record is meaningless.

I have nothing against McCain’s POW status. To bad he had to have that horid experience ... but it does not make him a hero but a survivor. I and many others fought in Vietnam and managed not to get caught.
