No to McCain
If the Republican party chooses to nominate John McCain, I will not vote for him in the general election.
My reason is immigration. I believe others may have different reasons - the McCain-Feingold assault on freedom of speech, McCain’s opposition to the Bush tax cuts, his attempts to gut the Second Amendment… Take your pick.
If you cannot support McCain in the general election - for whatever reason - I urge you to publicly pledge so now, so that the Republican party realizes exactly what it would be getting if it nominated him.
Since immigration is my most important issue, let’s review McCain’s record of votes on this issue. Among many other things, McCain recently voted to:
1. Support amnesty for 12-20 million illegal aliens
2. Support giving felons and gang members amnesty
He is the only Republican presidential candidate who does not agree that English should be the official national language of the United States.
No matter which party such a man belongs to, I cannot support putting him in the White House. I will never vote for him.

I would vote for McCain only if he were the last Republican standing against any of the Democrats.
