True.

President Bush has his flaws...mostly on immigration, but he will look extremely good to us after this mess is over.

Loved when he flew to Iraq for Thanksgiving, when he was on the ship, when he stood at Ground Zero, when he was hauling wood on his property, how he handled 9/11, how he chose the correct judges in the end. We forget those things and go after him on issues he cannot fight without a Congress to back him up.

It is not all on President Bush’s shoulders, it is on those we’ve elected to Congress who either turned on us or were so immoral that the MSM could use them as the poster boys of the Republican Party. Remember the page scandal?

We re-elected his enemies several times in Congress. People refused to believe we never had a conservative majority in the House or Senate. Sure, the Repubs had a numerical advantage, but without RINOS, they didn't even have that. To the day I die, I will hate Jumpin Jim Jeffords.

If historians are honest 30 years from now,
they will write what I know now:

that we’ve been blessed to have his courage,
personal decency and integrity and conviction
in these dangerous and life-altering times.

He said he would bring honor and dignity back
to the White House, and he did.

How he endures the personal viciousness and
venom slung by so many is unbelievable. Yet,
he goes out with grace and optimism each day,
and he does that carrying the burden of knowing
every morning what the savage beasts are plotting
against us and our allies and trying to juggle
fending off terror and all the other presidential
duties and decisions.

God bless and protect him.
