Anyways, Huck is a good politician, no denying that. ;-)

That's a dubious honor. Kind of like being a perfect a-hole.

Strange how almost no one cares for Huckabee, but the guy keeps on plugging on...how does that happen?

He does it cause he LOVES to campaign. He won't take no for an answer.

He'll work his people to death, and once he's elected, he won't remember their names.

Yes, Huckabee's supporters kind of embarrass me, being a Christian myself.

While I am also Christian and a Huckabee supporter, I am not a Huckabee Christian. I still love you, even though I kind of embarrass you and you say so to non-Christians.

John 13:34
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
John 13:35
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 15:12
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
John 15:17
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
Romans 12:10
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
Romans 13:8
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Galatians 5:13
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Ephesians 4:2
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
1 Thessalonians 3:12
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
1 Thessalonians 4:9
But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
1 Peter 1:22
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1 Peter 3:8
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
1 John 3:11
For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
1 John 3:23
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1 John 4:11
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1 John 4:12
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
2 John 1:5
And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

I’ve worked for the Republican Party since 1964 when I campaigned for Goldwater and was too young to vote for him.
Bush has been the biggest dissapointment in my political life. I don’t intend to get snookered by some asshat Rino again.

IMO, couldn’t be further from the truth.

Overwhelming support for Fred Thompson could happen overnight, and any time.

Don’t forget the effect that current events can have on the election too.

Great example is the border agent who has just been killed. There will come a point when people will have had enough!

And voters may just turn around and break down the doors to support Fred, who would they go to otherwise?

Stay tuned

***Fred is Dead. Face it already! That’s reality***

Georgia was looking promising not sure now. Dont see any way in this current enviroment for Fred to get enough delegates to make a difference.

Fred doesn't have enough money to run ads competitively in that Atlanta metro market, and in Columbus, Savannah, and Macon.

Duncan Hunter got 467 votes IN SOUTH CAROLINA.

Think about that.

Yup. RINOs coming tomorrow. Then Sharia law.

“Hey - your republican party is changing before your very eyes. We are watching the devolution of the republican party as we have known it.”

This has been true for a long time... But this Huckabee/Giuliani/Romney/McCain thing is exposing rifts in the party that have been glossed over. Values voters who WANT big government to enforce their values. Small government conservatives who think government shouldn’t be involved. Economic conservatives who don’t care much about social values. Security voters who care only about keeping or borders safe and will vote for a liberal to do it. In truth, there is very little presently uniting the Republican party other than dislike of Democrats.

In the past, the candidates haven’t been so diverse. Now, the differences are highlighted. And they’re pressing right on the stress points.

Well pastor the results from the voting booth don't back up your statement...very unfortunately. Being Catholic though..I totally understand your frustration.

Fred has already said he will not accept a VP slot. End of speculation.

I lived in Massachusetts. I saw Flip run in 1994. That's why I want nothing to do with him. He's an opportunistic fraud and will stick it to conservatives while pretending to be on our side. That's exactly what he did in Massachusetts as governor.

That is exactly what the two Republicans that I know from Massachusetts say as well. I would consider both to be moderately conservative. One actually worked on Romney's campaign against Kennedy but now says that he won't vote in the general election if Romney is the Republican nominee. The other called Romney a liberal scumbag which surprised me given her generally moderate views. It was RomneyCare that caused her to desert Romney.

How optimistic you are, but I don’t think that the sheeple will ever get enough of liberalism and socialism. It’s all they understand: a candidate who can clean up GWB’s mess and “help” them. GWB has ruined conservatives by coopting the label.

I don’t know. I didn’t care about politics in the 90s and with John McCain probably being our nominee, I could just as easily care less again.

The Republican base doesn’t care about small government, illegal immigration, or personal responsibility. They want a big government President just as much as Democrats. I don’t know why I should care about the Republican party at this point.

That’s because Huckleberry has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, i.e., he’s an utterly shallow attention whore.
