My screen name is Dan12180. The account was set-up by my son. I am a married 47 year old mother of 3. We just found out today I have cancer in multiple areas of my bones. We are still looking for the primary source. Breast cancer 10.5 years ago but everything has been clean and clear since then. It looks like the thryoid and glands are involved too. Oncologist appointment on the 30th & we'll get the plan then.

Vickey, since you have some time before you’ll be seeing the doctor, here are some things you can do in the meantime, in the area of nutrition, so as to give your body the best shot at fighting back.
1. Eliminate all unnatural substances from your diet, especially hydrogenated fats. Try to eat all or mostly natural foods with organic being the best.
2. Make sure that you’re getting enough omega-3 fats in your diet - fish oil, freshly ground flax seed, flax oil.
3. Buy a juicer and drink several glasses of freshly made vegetable juice every day. Don’t worry about taste and include a variety of vegetables when making the juice.

No offense Colorado, but what qualifies you to offer medical/nutrition advice? She has an M.D. (or several) to manage that part of her life. She’s asking for prayers. If she wanted to ask about nutrition, it wouldn’t have said “Prayer request please.”
