Associating with RP will bring no group anything that they want as far as I can see. He brings two things. A name, fringe parties usually don't have a shot at a Congressman, much less one with a high profile, and as I noted the negative aspects of that profile won't be a put off for the CP. Equally important, he has a lot of $$$$. Whether he'll spend it, that will be an interesting future topic, is another issue.
