Nevada is part of the Mormon Belt around the Rockies. It’s friendly territory for Romney.

Now there is an accurate chart.

Levin has spoken well of Thompson, as has Limbaugh. I believe Laura Ingraham has spoken favorably about Duncan Hunter, and Hannity has leaned toward Giuliani. However, all three of these candidates seem to have sunk into the second tier. Thompson seems to be betting on South Carolina to prove his Southern strategy, and Giuliani on Florida for his "big state" strategy. Michigan is a must win for Romney. If he wins here and if Thompson does not do well in South Carolina, the conservative talkers will be more firmly in Romney's camp as we approach Super Tuesday.
In two weeks, depending on the results of the primaries and caucuses, we may be down to three candidates: McCain, Huckabee, and Romney.

Since you had a long career in the service, can you tell me what percentage of male Americans join the military in one branch or another? I have two brothers and a fifty percent service record; but I also have about 25 first cousins and only 2 of the 25 served, making an 8 percent record.
I don’t find it unusual that any particular five sons need to have had military service. How many families have five sons? Too many variables on which to make a firm conclusion.

Your polling place is definitely in Ann Arbor.
With that list of hanger-arounders, it sure wouldn't be Saginaw.

McCain has the wrong party affiliation behind his name. He needs to on the democrat ticket. Interesting thought.
If McCain were running in the Democrat primary -- vs Clinton, Obama and Edwards -- where do you suppose he would finish?
What percentage of the Democrat vote might he garner?

I like Thompson, too, and Hunter as well. However, real conservatives have been relegated to minority status in the Republican Party. Limbaugh, Levin, Hannity, etc., may be leaning towards Romney as the least of the evils in the top tier. However, I don’t trust the man, although he says a lot of the right stuff.
To: grellis
According to early exit polls, >17%< of voters for the REPUBLICAN primary are Democrats attempting to manipulate candidate results.
I can’t imagine them voting for anyone but McCain. Unless they’re voting strategically for the WORST candidate. IT could be literally anybody at this point.

It’s over for Romney if he doesn’t win tonight ... it will show he is not a viable candidate (especially losing in both NH and Michigan).

Well, my precinct just got one more vote for Hunter.
To: maica
He has won every state when only Republican voters are counted, instead of all the independent voters. When he gets to the states where crossover voters are not allowed, he will do very well.I liken these crossover states to having a sports team with 60 men on the roster, but only 20 who play. You wouldn't let the other team decide which 20 get to play, much less decide who your team captain will be.
Why do Republicans allow this kind of crossover voting to happen? Doesn't each party set up the rules for its own primary? I find it very frustrating.
