Today is the big day!
Duncan will be there too
:)
Right now we are at war, we have been attacked, I don’t give a rats ass about 10 or 20 years ago
No his record on abortion and gays will do that...
Then I guess Thompson's going to lose the South, too. They are both, Thompson and Romney, for States' rights on those two issues.
Huckabee’s is also supposed to be on fumes. However, he had enough to sponsor nasty push-polls in SC today against Thompson. Either he has a bit more than advertised, or someone is doing him a “favor.”
Cankels was in San Diego the other evening sucking up money.
I’d only use military service as a tie-breaker.
McCain’s a military guy. He’s also a certifiable loon and a tax-raising, carbon-offsetting card-carrying member of the gang of 14.
Fred Thompson never served. I’ll take him over McLame 8 days a week.

Haha..That’s good...Looks like Mitt will be a dominant factor and may be the man to lead the GOP party..If it is a brokered convention, he just may pick someone who is not running right now, someone such as Haley Barbour, another get-it-done guy and very smart...
Incidentally, just for the record, Mitt is a very smart man- He graduated from Harvvard with a JD/MBA joint Law degree (cum Laude) and Master’s in Business Admin and was in the top 5% of his class in that MBA program and was named a Baker Scholar..
Checked Barbour’s bio at Wikipedia and it looks terrific too..He is also a Lawyer- U Miss JD, and in 1994 he was chairman of the RNC and guided the Reps to winning both houses of Congress for the first time in 40 years...wow...His term as Miss governor runs til 2011..In Miss he has signed the “Taxpayer Protection Pledge”, pledging not to raise taxes...hmm...

“Duncan Hunter has many years of experience both in and out of the US Army and his son is serving now...”
Yeah, and Duncan Hunter isn’t even in the running for President anymore. Make an attempt at being realistic. Duncan Hunter is out of the running now. Period. And no amount of wishful thinking is going to make it otherwise. He is a good man who can’t make it to the Presidency. Many good men haven’t. You need to make another choice now.
Interesting what ifs, especially so early.
I've got a caucus coming up Saturday. Do I stand up for principle and make a statement for the guy I like, or do I broker my pricinct for more representation with another candidate at the county convention and then the state and national?
Principle is powerful. Politics is compromise. I am more political than principled.

The people who most want McCain to be the Republican candidate are the MSM and Democrats. This is because the flying monkeys in the MSM will beat him like a Pinata until he can’t see straight, and then Hitlery will be elected president. I’m really shocked that McCain himself doesn’t realize this. Thus he surely must be mentally imbalanced, as you suggested.
LOL
I can’t complain, yesterday was 76 here.
“Being a Sunday School teacher is not equivalant to serving in the Armed Forces..How could you say such a thing ???”
P.S., missionary work is not being a Sunday school teacher. Doesn’t sound like you know much about them. Read up.
“No his record on abortion and gays will do that...
Then I guess Thompson’s going to lose the South, too. They are both, Thompson and Romney, for States’ rights on those two issues.”
Yes thats a big reason FRed is not my first choice..
Figures....that could have been fun!
Haley Barbour has Clintonian-type problems with China.
Why is it anyone who votes against your candidate is a bot? I'm for a Mitt/Fred ticket as is a lot of Mitt supporters on FR.
I was just taking a swipe because of how I was being treated by Mitt supporters for voting for Fred.
Thank you
Note to NY Timess Newsroom: Flame letter on the way...Change the Picture !
I’ve got two words for those who elevate military service as a qualification for the presidency or who cite lack of service as a disqualification: John Kerry
And by no means do I seek to denigrate those who served. We owe each of them and you a debt of gratitude. But Carter served, Reagan did not. Who was the better CINC?
