And Gramnesty standing right behind him! McVain's man-servant was there?

Whats up with Brownback’s face? Looks like plastic surgery.

Brownback up now! I had no clue he was supporting McCain.
I bet McCain would pick Brownback for VP.
McCain/Brownback ‘08, the Illegals choice!

Wasn’t that great? He mopped up with Sean as well, who asked him the same question 3 times (which Thompson pointed out). Sean finally had to admit defeat.
I though Fred came off strong and feisty yet still gentlemanly when talking about his rivals’ shortcomings.

Off topic, but, you know what’s interesting (at least to me)? The Republicans are fighting over each other saying that they are “the true conservative”, but the Democrats would never fight over who could be called “the true liberal”. The “L” word is never mentioned by the Dems. The Dems say they’re a “moderate” or “I’m a centrist”. Just an observation.
Look for the MSM and Dems to step up the attacks on Romney, particularly Clinton’s people.

Brownback?
I thought his endosement was old news.
Does anyone have a picture of him in the empty room announcing his withdrawl from the race? it was so sad.

Fred uses the time to diss Mitt, and, in the process, loses some points with me just when I was starting to warm up to him.Yup. Fred is for McLame. Fred a little touchy tonight.

I’m going to save post 1163. I think this disqualifies you from most commentary. Sad and ignorant. I hope it does not get zotted. It marks you.

You are correct, I forgot, Mitt said his sons served by riding around Iowa.
My relatives in Iraq didn’t find that funny.

If Fred gets the nomination and chooses McCain as his running mate, then what? Friends, or not, I’d lose a heap of respect for Fred Thompson.
To: TornadoAlley3
I just heard that. He sounds like a sore loser adolescent.
To: madison10
I don’t think Fred would pick McCain.

Frankly, I like a Romney/Huckaby ticket... Mr. Business on top, Mr. People (and Christian) underneath. I think thats a VERY solid team to put up against the Dems.... whoever. That could be the strongest GOP ticket, if not the shrewdest. But I don't think people want to talk about that right now. :o)

"
Id like to see a VP from the West."
Don't look to CA. Schwartzeneggar so angered the GOP that most Assembly and Senate members vote against anything he wants to do. And CA is going bankrupt because of what he signed or propositions he backed. How will he support his beloved illegal aliens with less tax revenue coming in?

Just as I suspected... like 2000, McCain’s NH win was an aberration.
Considering that the Dem side was reduced to a straw poll and that MI is an open primary IIRC (correct me if I’m wrong) I’d expect more Dems and independents to have crossed over, and McCain polls well there. But what does that say about Romney...??
