The Conservative movement in America and specifically in the GOP has been in reverse for some time. Expecting the only Conservative left in the GOP race to exit would end any hope for the Republican party returning to those Conservative principles that was the base of the party. Duncan Hunter is maintaining what vestiges of Conservatism remain in the GOP.

Thompson is scraping the bottom of the conservative barrel right there with Hunter. On may polls they register the same. Why doesn’t Thompson bow out?

This is a PRIMARY. We will vote the best conservative candidate. That’s what is good for the ‘movement’.
