Ok. Just saw Hillary has the cover of Newsweek with the "finding her voice" line. What struck me about this is the exact same line comes from Carl Bernstein's "A Woman in Charge". There is the section after the dems lose the house where she goes into a depression and she turns to new age guru's and Eleanor Roosevelt in order to....you guessed it, find her own voice.
The end result was the publication of "It takes a village".
I can't believe she is reusing shtick from a decade and a half ago and people are buying it again.
So she’s been in politics for “35 years” and has “35 years of experience” but she only found her voice LAST WEEK???
I wonder what village full of idiots got polled/ focus grouped to decide Finding Her Voice worked.............
There is the whole section where she talks about “summoning the inner voices” and turning to Eleanor Roosevelt. The line comes from some New Age guru named Jean Houston who told Hillary she needed to “find her own voice”, that she had the history of womanhood on her back, etc. It’s really an interesting book.
I thought that was a slick line in her victory speech, then I was listening to the audiobook and the same line shows up from a decade ago. Miracles never cease.
“Any observations?”
There are too many people that are dumb, ignorant, or evil.
I’ve actually seen pictures of Hiliarly’s voice on many, many milk cartons, “HAVE YOU SEEN THIS VOICE?”
Funny thing though, while searching for her voice, her big fat mouth was still blaring away with that annoying, nails-on-chalkboard, hectoring sound that we all know and loathe so well.
Guess she had a backup bellow.
The poor Queen will cry if we don't let her have the throne and royal scepter.
The thing that bothers me in political discussions here is that the threat Hillary poses is not taken seriously enough—the laughs are good, they keep me hopeful, but folks, you will not recognize this country if she is elected. The way this woman is using race and gender is not what I regard as American at all. And imagine Maggie Thatcher resorting to these tactics. The British would have met her with nothing but scorn and disdain. Americans get the government they deserve, and if they are stupid enough to go for this, what can we do about it??
I truly believe she does summon "inner voices", only those would be totally demonic in nature.
She can use the same schtick over and over again, because anyone who would even consider voting for her has to be of below average intellect or pure evil.
What she found is a new way to FOOL people with CROCODILE tears and faux emotions!! She KIND OF knew it would work but she never tried it before...too GIRLY...and she was desperate because she was LOSING so she took a gamble and VOILA!!! “These people REALLY ARE STUPID, BILL...just like you’ve always said”.
OMG! She should be LAUGHED out of town! Can you imagine if a MAN said “I;ve found my voice”????
I call BS. Hillary can’t possibly find her own voice without a proctologist.
The one common theme in all her "voices" is that she had deemed herself queen of a socialist utopia, at least in her own mind.
Great, Mrs. Clinton “found” her voice...but she speaks with a Hanoi accent.
Just like John McCain. He has been part of the problem as a congress critter for 30 years. Now he expects us to believe he is the solution?
“I can’t believe she is reusing shtick from a decade and a half ago and people are buying it again.”
Why does this surprise you?
Hillary has never shown any particular talent in coming up with creative, innovative ideas on her own.
She is famous for pre-scripted appearance where non-supporters are bullied and ushered out.
She has historically favored interviews with pre-approved questions.
She has shown miserable debate performances.
We are supposed to accept her as the smartest woman on earth, but she has proven to be rather - dull.
Having found her voice, Hillary needs to shut her cake hole.
The t-shirt should read, “It’s the tears, stupid”
And her voice is SHRILL!!!!
